Murthy is an excellent choice to read. He is brilliant and peace loving. That's a lovely bookmark, too.
I have a friend who has a machine that makes and cuts the ravioli squares. Yours look absolutely yummy. Your choice of cucumber water is wonderful, too.
Thanks for sharing your incredible book choice, your beautiful bookmark, your raviolis, and your cucumber water with us for T this Tuesday. At least it's still Tuesday in my world.
Your ravioli looks delicious. I haven't made pasta in decades and should try it again. A kitchen-aid attachment sounds like the trick. Hope it was a fun T day.
Great books and your bookmark is so pretty - love it! Ravioli is one of my favourites, the best I tasted was on holiday in Tuscany - yum, yum 😁. Great photos, it looks like you're all having fun! Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
I am a big fan of NPR and RBG and this book came highly recommended. It was refreshing to read about Nina Totenberg and her friendship with Ruth Bader Ginsberg, as well as with Cokie Roberts. I am sure this will end up on my favorites of 2023. I’ve been busy with some art projects, but always keep reading on my daily list of things to to. It’s my way of winding down at night. It’s always nice to curl up with a good book. Happy reading!
Art in Bloom Art in Bloom is being celebrated as a rite of Spring fundraising for art museums and libraries . In museums, floral designers create a piece to coordinate art on display. Local libraries and Chamber of Commerce combine their efforts with local art guilds and garden clubs to host a fun evening event. Libraries, art, flowers…what’s not to love? I decided this was an event I wanted to be involved in, both on the art and floral design aspect. First up: the display case, I asked Fiona for help on this. Here’s what we put together for the event. This is my first year participating, but it provided a great opportunity to put my art to good use. Happy Spring. Bloom where you’re planted.
T stands for time together...in Ireland. Heading to Ireland for a mini break provides a welcome respite from hustle and bustle. It's a chance to enjoy life at a slower pace, and get outside and enjoy nature. There is no place that we find as peaceful, and walking the country roads never gets old. Fortunately the weather cooperated, and the days are long...daylight until almost 10 o'clock at night, which leaves plenty of time for walking everyday. Our range was between 6 and 13 miles per day, making the most of our time outside. Not many people on our route, but not short of company. The dairy farm and creamery is just down the road, so you know our milk is fresh! Sometimes, after a long walk, a cuppa and a biscuit aren't enough. One of my favorite places to eat is Brown's in Derry. Wine anyone? Yes, please! Seafood Chowder David's choice And dessert.... Brownie, Cream, Raspberry Sorbet, and Raspberries What's not t
