T stands for Tea...with Susan Branch and Fi

Image
Susan Branch....yay! she signed them for us! Before we went to Ireland, Fi and I attended a Love of Literature luncheon hosted by South Shore Stars.  It is their annual fundraiser for RISE... Reading is so Exciting.  For me, this couldn't be more accurate. As my local librarian recently told my daughter, " I love your mom, she is open to anything." Flowers from Onz and D It was such a fun few weeks. I hated to send them on their way yesterday. I did send some home made chocolate chip cookies, Onz's request, right in time for Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! Hopefully, they will enjoy them for a while. But always on Mother's Day, I will never forget my own incredible mom, who I miss every day, but she is always in my heart. Sending Mother's Day wishes up to heaven with all the love the world ca...

We loved it so much that my three kids and I dressed up in maids' costumes and staged our own performance of Be Our Guest(for an audience of one). Always a flair for the dramatic here! So you can guess it didn't take much to say YES to the invitation. This proved to be a great decision. It's hard to decide which was better the movie or the company..Both excellent! Belle is my absolute favorite Disney character...what's not to love about a girl who loves books? Won't list any spoilers here, but they have literally fleshed out her character, and added to her appeal. Her love of books, libraries, the desire to share her love of reading all came through loud and clear. May this inspire a whole new generation of book...
