Yes, tonight's the night when little ghosts and ghoulies hit the streets..

And witches stop from a broom ride to hand out candy...
my favorite witch
And at my favorite neighBOOrhood bistro..somehow the wine disappeared before a picture could be taken...now that is Spirits at work!
Tough night to be an m and m..
Luckily they are in the pumpkin witness protection program...

Your page is boo-tiful, I love the witch on her broomstick with her cat and the way the stars are shinning brightly 😁.       Yes. I painted her a long time ago, but she is still one of my favorites. I bought the unfinished wood at a craft fair, and she had an ugly witchy face, but that just didn't seem fair. ;) I have her hanging on the front door, but it will be opening and closing a good bit tonight with the Trick or Treaters, so she is off for the night! Happy Halloween to you too!

    I'm loving your boorific T post today. I've been passing out pencils, and just turned my light out, The kids started arriving around 4 pm, and this was the longest I've passed out treats since forever.

    I love your M&Ms in the witness protection program. They need to be there, because that and Resses are two of the most asked for candies around. And your witch is absolutely incredible.

    Although I'm late visiting, I felt this was a treat, not a trick. Thanks for sharing your wonderful art and your humor with us for T this Tuesday.

  Art in Bloom Art in Bloom is being celebrated as a rite of Spring fundraising for art museums and libraries . In museums, floral designers create a piece to coordinate art on display. Local libraries and Chamber of Commerce combine their efforts with local art guilds and garden clubs to host a fun evening event. Libraries, art, flowers…what’s not to love? I decided this was an event I wanted to be involved in, both on the art and floral design aspect. First up: the display case, I asked Fiona for help on this. Here’s what we put together for the event. This is my first year participating, but it provided a great opportunity to put my art to good use. Happy Spring. Bloom where you’re planted.

T stands for Traditions

Nothing says traditions like a holiday...and in our house Birthdays have always been treated like holidays! We hold firmly to the belief that if there is a day you are ever going to celebrate, it's the day you were born. Luckily for Fi, her birthday is October 8, which coincides with Columbus day this year, extending the Birthday to Birthday weekend. We lined up all kinds of special treats, starting with a Half Marathon on Saturday, if you can call that a treat..followed up with  some other birthday specials, breakfast out at our favorite diner,  presents, bookstore coffee and browse around,  made to order breakfasts and dinners,  chocolate cake (yum!) and a wind down with one of our favorite hobbies on Monday... painting Halloween Vignette Years ago, I painted unfinished wood and sold it at craft fairs.
