T stands for Tote

I love my Christmas book tote present. It’s already made several trips back and forth to the library.

Just returned
Wintering by Katherine May

I haven’t used Goodreads in a few years and I have lost track of what books I have read. I may get back into keeping a list on good reads, but in the meantime Fiona gave me a little surprise.
Going old school with my reading log...
I love it!
My word of the year
Challenge

Reading won’t be a challenge, and I will keep track of it with the logbook. I have been thinking about what I read last year, and picking my 20 favorites of 2020.  I have concluded chick lit light needs a boost, because it’s definitely a mood boost! So that’s one of my challenges for 2021, and a fun one at that!
Cocoa bomb
A cocoa bomb tonight
...and a good book.

  1. I am old school keeping my reading lists. I like it as it is easy to go back to see what I read for the last few years. And nice tote. Hope it was a nice T day Nan. It was great to see the sun and have it a tad bit warmer too. Hugs-Erika

  4. I also record what I have read. I record my books in a little book I bought especially. It works a bit like an old fashioned address book, with an alphabetical order of Author. I write the date and the title and what the book is about. I also give it stars (one to five).
Your cocoa bomb look very delicious. I wonder what's inside....
    Happy (belated) T-Day,
    Lisca

  5. I was by earlier yesterday evening, then got called away before I could leave a comment. I also had a ton of paperwork I was trying to get out yesterday, which sucked up my time. I was late getting my T post up and now, sadly, I'm even later playing host. I'm very sorry I'm late visiting.

You are SO lucky. All the libraries in my city have been closed for months and months. A trip to the library would make my day. I think your tote is perfect for YOU, since you love to read so much.

Your word of the year is perfect and so appropriate. Even more, I love how you displayed it with your signature calligraphy and beautiful wreath.

Wow, a cocoa bomb looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing your new tote, your word of the year, and your cocoa bomb with us for T this Tuesday, which is now Wednesday.

  10. I've been keeping track of what I read online for quite a few years. I started out with Shelfari, and when that folded, moved everything over to Goodreads. I love setting a challenge there, because they keep track of how I'm doing as the year goes along. I'd love to her what you think of Wintering. It's been on hold for me for quite awhile, and by the looks of things, I won't be seeing it anytime soon. Love the tote bag! I've been using curbside pickup for most of my library transactions since they reopened.

  11. I wish I had thought to keep a record of the books I have read. I have made a start though. Our library closed down two years ago but not to worry - I'm reading books I bought way back and didn't have time to read! Your Cocoa bomb looks tasty! A very belated Happy T day! Chrisx
