Just hold on
A few late roses remain in the garden and while a couple of rainy, windy days have blown some petals off, they are still quite full and beautiful. I have one mum that comes back every year, but the profusion of blossoms means I haven’t planted any additional fall flowers. I will continue to enjoy these for as long as possible. I have tulip bulbs to plant, but I can hold off for a while longer.
Even the bee seems happy!
We have no roses here, but next spring hope to plant some along the new fence Tracy is building. Yours are so lovely! Are any of them climbers? I'd love some recommendations.
ReplyDeleteMy roses have gone to sleep for the winter, but I absolutely adore yours. And I LOVE your drawing and calligraphy, too, Nan.
ReplyDeleteYour roses are gorgeous and hopefully they'll last through this week. Temps are supposed to warm up a bit. The Procreate piece is WOW! Oh, and run over to Jean's blog as an envelope she did for you is being featured. That's pretty cool, too.
ReplyDeleteOh my, your garden is looking amazing and those roses are so beautiful! They look so elegant and delicate and the pink shades of colour are so pretty too 😀. With Mr, Bee visiting, now I'm wondering if they are fragrant? Your painting is gorgeous too, living how you are holding onto the last of summer - perfect! Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
