and like anything else, techniques improve with practice. Making the time for practice can be a challenge, so starting Thursday, I am scheduling some much needed practice in. Last weekend, I decided to pull out my prima watercolors and watercolor brush.

I think I will use it for a greeting card or maybe just mail it as a postcard. You can see my cup that I painted with Fi in the backround, perfect for storing watercolor brushes.
As I was painting, I had a glass of water, keeping up with my water drinking challenge.

I have been working on a mini tracker journal, and I've asked CJ to join with me. Here's a sneak peek of what I sent to her and what I made for me. They are a little different based on our personal goals. The main concept is the same; Body, Soul and Mind
I've seen a few different trackers that I like and tweaked it a bit...for me, it's all about small but consistent steps. Anything too big will never last.

It really is in the mail. |

ReplyDeleteYour water colour painting looks beautiful. I make efforts to drink more water, but the call of the tea always seems to win.
ReplyDeleteHappy T day wishes.

I love the mug you create with Fi and it's the perfect holder for your watercolour markers 😁. I adore the card you painted and your writing on your mini tracker journal is so beautiful. It's a great idea and I'm looking forward to hearing more about transformation Thursday 😁. Wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely watercolor, and a rather elegant tracker! I'm finding mine really makes a big difference in what I accomplish. There are days like today when I was out of the house all day, so not much got checked off, but that's OK. Tomorrow I'm home nearly all day.
ReplyDeleteThose watercolor poppies are fabulous, Nan. I really like them. You draw well, but you write even better! I look forward to this calendar challenge you and CJ now have.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your water and fabulous painting, paints, painted mugs, and pens with us for T this Tuesday.
Little steps are most important. I love what I see here. Sounds like you have a nice project for the fall. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers you painted. I'll be stalking the mailman. Can't wait to see what you sent me.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your little Tracker Journal ideas! the exchange is also pretty sweet and a great way to be accountable. Lovely card you've made too!
