T stands for tulips
Tulips and springtime
Onz and I planted over 300 spring bulbs last year. When she and Deets bought their house, one of the many areas that needed a total overhaul was the garden. For flower lovers like us, this was a fun challenge. Even more fun is seeing how a neglected garden was transformed.
I increased my tulips by adding a new stretch of tulips in front of a row of hedge for a pop of color.
From a distance
Up close and personal
Lots of color framed by green
Out front, I added a few peony tulips. The blooms are a little more sturdy when the wind blows.Pretty in pink.
Because the little things are really the big things.
Cheers to getting back to doing the things I love
With the people I love 💕
Lovely tulips, aren't they. A few gardens in our neighborhood have tulips everywhere and they are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteTulips are such a blast of colour after the yellows of daffodils! your garden looks wonderful! Happy T Day, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tulips! Wow, you planted so many bulbs last year - yay 😊. Loving the pops of colour and those peony tulips look amazing! I wonder if these are the same as the double-headed tulips that I'm featuring on my post today as the flower heads do remind me of peonies 😁. Take care and Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThese are truly amazing. I was so impressed with the beautiful tulips you planted last autumn. I also thought the peony tulips looked like the ones Jo shared in her garden. Of course, I love the row of tulips, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great calendar page for your drink today, dear Nan. Thanks for sharing your spring tulip garden and your April calendar with us for T this Tuesday, dear friend.
The tulips are beautiful! I love the various colors and they certainly pop next to that neatly trimmed green hedge.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
Those tulips are gorgeous Nan. I just love seeing all the spring flowers and I am guess you do also. That's a lot of bulbs to plant, but I would do the same. Hope you had a wonderful T day. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteYour garden is truly a beautiful place. I love tulips (being Dutch) and particularly those peony tulips. I have never seen those and they are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me the flowers. Made my day!
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
I love tulips. Those peony tulips are gorgeous! Unfortunately we have critters (and deer, we think) that love them, too. We finally gave up planting them in the yard. Tracy put some in pots this year. One morning we discovered that, yet again, half the blooms had been snapped off!
