Yes, it's back in the real world or as they say in Ireland back to Porridge...
Truth...though it is good for you...cholesterol and heart wise
Though I will definitely miss my home in Ireland... some pictures of my neighborhood...

    What incredible sites you shared today. I wish my kitchen came with cooks. I might spend more time in it. LOVED that side garden.

    So were those packages ordered before you decided to give up spending money for three months? They look rather large and impressive. Of course, all those beautiful cards are simply wonderful, too.

      Thank you Elizabeth...we remodeled our kitchen in Ireland a few years ago. It was two small rooms a kitchen and a dinette. We blew open the wall. I so love how bright it is, but there is no better feature than the Cooks on Call! Yes, my packages were ordered before I went to Ireland, and received before June 1, whew! Thank goodness, I had something all ready ordered. It was my planner and inserts/art goodies, but hopefully will keep me on track for Transformation Thursday. Wishing you a happy day!

      Thank you Erica. This is my favorite place in all the world. There was an article in the Irish papers a few years ago, saying if you want to see the real Ireland, go to West Tyrone. Well, that is where our house is, so that's the luck of the Irish for you! My hubs gave me a smart phone for Christmas...my flip phone was 12 years old, the numbers were worn off, but it had a qwerty keyboard. What more did I need? Well, I was certainly ill informed and crazy to boot! I love this phone, which I keep mistakenly referring to as a camera...so you know what gets the most use! So yes, I will be posting loads more pictures! Happy Tuesday, and thanks so much for reading and commenting on my blog!

      Thank you Karen. The photos only capture a small part of it. The quiet and wide open spaces are so restorative. I never get tired of it, when the plane lands my heart skips a beat...some of the best days of my life have been spent in Ireland with my family; maybe that's where the real magic lies for me. Nothing says traditions like a holiday...and in our house Birthdays have always been treated like holidays! We hold firmly to the belief that if there is a day you are ever going to celebrate, it's the day you were born. Luckily for Fi, her birthday is October 8, which coincides with Columbus day this year, extending the Birthday to Birthday weekend. We lined up all kinds of special treats, starting with a Half Marathon on Saturday, if you can call that a treat..followed up with  some other birthday specials, breakfast out at our favorite diner,  presents, bookstore coffee and browse around,  made to order breakfasts and dinners,  chocolate cake (yum!) and a wind down with one of our favorite hobbies on Monday... painting Halloween Vignette Years ago, I painted unfinished wood and sold it at craft fairs.   Art in Bloom Art in Bloom is being celebrated as a rite of Spring fundraising for art museums and libraries . In museums, floral designers create a piece to coordinate art on display. Local libraries and Chamber of Commerce combine their efforts with local art guilds and garden clubs to host a fun evening event. Libraries, art, flowers…what’s not to love? I decided this was an event I wanted to be involved in, both on the art and floral design aspect. First up: the display case, I asked Fiona for help on this.
